Facebook ads cost in Lithuania: what decides the price of an enquiry.
There is no fixed price for a Facebook ad. You pay for attention in an auction, and the price of one enquiry depends on five things you control.
How the price is set
Meta does not sell ads at a price list. Every time someone opens Facebook or Instagram, advertisers who want to reach that person compete in an auction. You pay more when many advertisers want the same people at the same time, and less when your ad is one people actually stop for. That is why two companies in the same city can pay very different prices for the same audience.
What you pay for
You can pay per thousand views, per click or, in practice, per result: an enquiry, a call, an order. The number that matters for a business is the cost per enquiry and, one step later, the cost per customer. Cheap clicks that never become enquiries are not cheap.
Five things that move the cost
- The offer. "Free consultation" and "fixed price in 24 hours" bring very different people. A clear offer lowers the cost more than any targeting trick.
- The creative. Real photos and short videos from your own work usually beat stock images. Meta rewards ads people engage with by showing them cheaper.
- The landing page. If the ad promises a calculator and the page shows a generic contact form, half the clicks are wasted.
- Season and competition. Costs rise before holidays and when a subsidy call opens and every competitor advertises at once.
- Tracking. Without the Meta pixel and conversion events, Meta cannot learn who becomes an enquiry and optimises for clicks instead.
Work out what an enquiry can cost you
Start from the end. If an average project earns you 1 500 euro in gross profit and you close one in four quotes, one enquiry is worth up to 375 euro to you. Spending 30 to 60 euro to get one is a good deal; spending 300 is not. Put your own numbers into this and you have a budget, not a guess.
Why a small budget is enough to start
A test budget of a few hundred euro over two to three weeks tells you the real cost per enquiry for your offer in your regions. Only after that does it make sense to decide how much to spend each month. Agencies that ask for a large budget before any test are asking you to pay for their learning.
Where the money usually leaks
In our audits the most common leak is not the ad at all. It is what happens after the click: a slow page, a form that asks too much, and a reply that arrives the next day. Fix those first and the same budget brings more enquiries. See why enquiries do not become projects and our paid media service.
